package.yaml is the flow manifest. Together with schema.yaml, it is one of the two files every flow must have.

The flow’s name. If omitted on a child flow, it is derived from the directory name.

Semver version of the flow package.

Human-readable description.

A semver range (for example ">=0.7.0 <0.8.0"). Boot rejects the bundle if the running platform version falls outside the range.

Child flows declared by this package. Each entry has id, flow (the child directory under flows/), and mode (static or template).

Child flows

A static child starts one instance at boot. A template child is loaded but not started; instances are created at runtime with the create_flow_instance action. See Composing flows.
